Thread: Cotaco / Indian Creek

Fished 7:30am-2pm.

Water temp 54-57 degrees Slightly stained to very stained.

Fished Catoco first. Water was slightly stained caught 1 keeper 2 small ones. We caught on jigs. Other boats were using Minnows. about 8-9am the current picked up and water got very stained and the fish go lock jaw.

Went to Indian creek water temps were pushing 57-58 degrees.Water was slightly stained and we fished blow downs and caught 5 more keepers and a stripe on jigs.

One fish was 9-10"
the other 5 were 10-12"

Just know there is a fish advisory for those out of Indian Creek. They will not let us fish it on the Arsenal

Hey Bob, I originally had that in my post, but then looked and it was only for Buffalo. I personally want to stay away from DDT, but there is no advisory for crappie.

If you look on the outdooralabama website, you'll also see advisories for Flint and Limestone creeks also. These are mercury in large mouth bass.
