    Default Fished Neely today.

Got on the lake at the crack of noon today (had chores to do this morning) and was a bit surprised at how dirty/muddy it was, I guess all this wind we've been having muddied it up. Surface temp was 69* at noon and 74 at 5 pm when I left.

Longlined 1/16 oz jigs on 3 rods and couldn't keep the baby Stripe off of them! Caught 6 real nice slabs, a 10"er and a few 9"s... which I thought was pretty good for the middle of the day, got a nice little Spot about 2 or 2 1/2 lbs.

The best color for the day was green/yellow Hot Grub, second best was Acid Rain.

I'll post a couple pics later.

Ha!!!... I had a black and chartreuse (red head) on for half the time out... nothing but the smallest of baby Stripers would hit it!

You should come to Neely with me one day... bring your black and chartreuse, I love it when I catch most of the fish!!!:p

Finally getting around to posting the pics.

    The victims!

Best color jig of the day.

I paint these heads myself and one side is super glow yellow and the other side is super glow green with a lemon/lime hot grub.

Second best jig of the day.

Jig head is super glow yellow on one side and white pearl on the other with an acid rain hot grub.

Those jigs look awesome! I prefere to fish colored jigs myself.
