Default 54 keepers 30 dinks logan martin saturday

Caught 54 keepers on Logan Martin Saturday, All in 4 feet of water with jigs. 10 to 12 inch range no real monsters, 1.5lbs was about the biggest. Longlined jigs and drifted jigs under bobbers. Best day yet for me. Just started fishing here in Al, bought my boat in August. Will post pictures if someone can tell me how. Keeps telling me file is to big.

    Default black white

Hey Glenn look at the big fish in the left side of the live well. It has different markings than the rest. Was with the wife in bass pro shop earlier eating an ice cream and was looking thru a fishing book. It showed a black and white crappie. Is the big one on the left side of the live well a white crappie and the rest black? That was the only fish with those kind of markings out of the 54.

    Yup!... what Scott said.

Looks like somebody was looking to do a little "hybridizing".

The white Crappie usually wait for a little warmer water than the black Crappie, but it's not unheard of for them to go at the same time and the will hybridize.
