Sounds like Lake Weiaa Lodge is what we are going to try. I guess JR's is just like a lot of fishing camps that has been around for a while. I stayed in a lot of motels during my 37 years on the road and they all get kind of run down after a while. Thanks from another Roll Tider stuck in Tennessee

Bay Springs Motel and Campground. we stayed there last spring and had a great time. owners are very nice and helpful. offers boat docks, ramp, bait shop, cleaning stations and close to town for food and walmart. located in bay springs cove on the lower end of lake. I'll be there in march, can't wait to get out of this &@#! cold and snow.

My advice would not be to wait until mid April...I would move it up a few weeks!

What ever you do don't book with Cowan Creek. God for bid if you would have to cancel your trip for some reason (2months in advance). They will charge you $90.00. This is the most bull**** policy I have ever heard of. And the lady on the phone was rude on top of it. STAY AWAY!!!

I’ve stayed there a couple of times never had any problems they was very helpful but I didn’t cancel or change a reservation either. It definitely wasn’t nothing fancy but it was clean and very convenient for where I was fishing.
