we built a 12 x 14 addition on our house and the framer charged me 1,500 to build it and "dry it in" , took him one day .

that same job by the another "framer" would have been higher for sure , of course it was 5 years ago , but even then it was a deal .
had one that is kinda family quote me 2,500 for the job , it is one of those things .
my gate at my place in the country was quoted at 3,500 to 5,000 and I got a guy to do it for 1,000.
I would tend to think 25 an hour is around a min. per hour on what you should charge , unless you are licensed in some of the construction type areas .
