It wasn't to long ago in that state of ALABAMA you could go to jail for marrying outside your race,or for working on Sundays. That being said marriage is between a man and a woman and I don't support same sex marriage but owning your own franchise does not make you a policy maker.

Chick-fil-A was good this morning too, it used to not be one of my favorite places, for some reason it became my top 5. What I don't understand is how people react to someone speaking their opinion by freaking out, yet when they spew their opinions all over the free world we can't disagree or it's hate. I don't remember anyone saying they hate people who practice same-sex marriage, we just don't agree with what they are doing and hate the sin they are committing. Can you imagine the reaction if they find out we believe the end result will be the same for liars as it is for the sexually immoral... Rev 21:8.

why would you alienate someone that is buying your product?maybe chic fil has to much money?taking a stance is fine I have no problem with what so ever it's our right. The COA took a public stance abought his opinion of same sex marriage that may not reflect the life style of his managers stock holders and his workers.I really don't care but the last time I ate the food was over priced 6.00 dollars for chicken sandwich is a little high..that did not include the drink lol the breakfast is the better deal

A couple of things to remember here. All sins are equal in the eyes of the Lord, man tries to weigh them or place a value to them. A lie is the same as murder. Second, we all sin. ""he that is without sin, cast the first stone". I'm just proud of someone standing on their beliefs, not changing them because it's unpopular. Dan Cathy didn't say he would not hire, serve or that he condemned gays. He stated his belief that marrige is defined as between one man and one women.

I get a chicken sandwich combo with large fry and drink, it is $6.65. dont see how that is overpriced. have you been to mcdonalds or burger king lately ? meals will be same price or more and service will SUCK ! JMO chik-fil-a is the cleanest, fastest service, and best food at ANY fast food resturant. he is a business owner, he was asked a question and answered HONEST. only someone after VOTES would have answered dishonest. if he made a very small % of customers mad so what. I think yesterday proved who his customer base is. The PC thing has gotten way out of hand in this country

i agree that this upswing in business will be short lived, but the people who were offended or hurt will always remember and never patronize the business again and all money is green. i dont blame anyone for being against gay marriage and certainly dont have a problem with cathy but i think mike hukabee is the one who got this thing kicked off and chick filet will never know how much business he cost them in the long term. im neutral on the subject of gay marriage and until someone can explain how it would negativley affect me i will remain that way. i feel like im on facebook.

YOU MISSED THE WHOLE MEANING OF THIS WHOLE THING. It's not the food, or how much money they made one day, or how often we eat there. The point is that some one stood up for something right and we went and showed them we are behind them and maybe other business will start having better morals. I hardly ever eat there myself, but I went to make a statement yesterday. It might not affect you today, but some day you will answer for all your beliefs, miss beliefs, sins and all the times you stood on the side lines and didn't stand up for whats right or wrong. If you dont stand up against it, then you will be considered for it. There is no in between.

They want us to be tolerant, but they are the most intolerant of all.

If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything!
