    Default Douglas 2/7 & 2/9

Started at Walters Bridge Sat. for sauger. Water temp 36. Not a bite. Moved down to 18 and not a bite. Did what a smart man would do and went to the house. Fished Muddy and Mcguire Creek Monday not a bite. Water temp. 41.

My opion: we need some warm rain. This is good time to be working weekends in exchange for future weekdays off.

Michael and I got skunked on Loudoun Sunday afternoon so I know how you feel. Actually, I've been skunked a lot of times...It'll get better soon.

I also got skunked on douglas on Sunday. I found lots of fish mid-day, but couldn't get a bite. I went back to that area before I left to see if they might still be there and I might be able to night fish for them, they were all gone. I think there are enough shad dieing that they are not hungry.

Can you get down to 18 from Walters Bridge without hitting the bottom? Wanted to this weekend, but was afraid I might not be able to get to 18 from the bridge.
