Thread: Back to dipping for crappie.

Buddy wanted to go to t hill to see if bite was on there. I crossed over LSL going to his house in Warren co. Stopped for minnows and put the boat in has a nice Ranger. Saw quite a few guys fishing off causeway and under bridge and that usually is a great sign.

Turns out BITE WAS ON. Just not for crappie. Couple guys we know well we're by bank and said had 18 drum and 10 small cats but just c o unless crappie. We started in plac3s we had found brush against piers but NO BRush and only 1 nice crappie along with few drum and catfish. So went to other bridge but just more drum cats.

Motored to warm water arm as it was nice weather good ride. There were several boats there and of course we're on targeted spots.went searching for brush but finally found shady spot I killed them last fall next to bank and KABOOM was the one flurry of day. I dipped where caught them before and that's where they were again! We ended up w 7 really solid ones one 9 a 10 then 5 between 11 and 11.5.

Went home and saw where Tom sent pic of bucket FULL of nice ones from my home lake! Oh well. Had nice boating day w a bud.
