Some nice looking groceries there. And congrats on the new hobby of jig tying. It really is contagious and fun to catch fish on a jig you tied...

Well I have been fishing a few times and have caught some using hand tied jigs my Fil made. Put out some limb lines using some chicken heart bait from Mufus the bait shop we use makes. The hearts were soaked in vayou rooster liver juice, red koolaid powder, and garlic. I caught a good mess of decent sized catfish using them and goldfish. A week or so
later My Fil, grandfather in law, and I planned to go to the river. Well I decided to put out some limb lines the day before. we went fishing and I ran the lines. To my surprise I had a 12 pound flat head on the end of one of those lines. Just some new experiences and fun times. The past week or so I’ve started using my Fil’s jig tying set up to tie a few and needless to say I’m going to end up getting my own set up. It’s a world of fun! Just thought about how i haven’t been on here much and just wanted to make an updated post! Drop some pictures of a few ties you’ve made or crappie you’ve caught this year!
