One of the smart mouthed moderators did it for me. I was posting detailed info for every fishing trip, at least once per week. I lurk from time to time, but this is my first post in years. Probably my last.

But, what has happened to this site? I use to always look forward to reading and keeping up with crappie fishing on here but now I don't know where to look. I realize new things with social media and all have taken over conversations but I have lost out some how. If there is another forum where people from here have gone or somewhere else we trade information I would appreciate it. I miss those good ole days

I miss the good ol' days as well. Most have gone to Facebook, but I don't have the time. I could catch up on just crappie fishing on here. Most of us are still out here, just not posting anything any more.
I will share one more thing--I have made many friends through this website all over central NC. We see other mostly at tournaments now,, but the friendships started on this website.

The fix is simple. Start posting again like you used to. Then others will join in and it’ll be like it was a few years ago. MC.CGA….
Hopefully a few of you get it. Lurking is the issue. Posting is the cure!

I to used to come hear regularly. Met many on here, in person or PM's, and learned a lot and made some good connections. I had noticed the lack of activity and honestly go months at the time without checking in now. I do miss the old days. Having recently moved to NE NC and starting to fish these rivers I don't mind admitting, I'm on the struggle bus.
A sign of the times I guess, I'm getting a little older and health has not been like it once was so I missed fishing last year. Finally got the ole SeaArk in the water last week and intend to hook a few this year. I think most everyone is so busy the little things get lost. This cool snap will give me a little time to catch up on equipment repairs and drop a little bamboo. That big storm a couple years ago washed out most of my go to holes and my favorite hole that use to be 17 foot deep is now under 5 ft. Got to adjust, put some work in and hit the water. Hope everyone loads the boat, and gains 20 lbs from the hushpuppies.
