    Default First resin eye experiment

Well, gonna have to work on making em smaller but proof of concept. Get em centered, use less resin and a lot of things but it worked. The drills/beads moved in the resin easily for centering on a silicone sheet. Look great in person, I suck at taking good pictures with my older phone. Lol First picture isn't a terrible look alike.

If'n the beads were yellow, you could call them fried eggs, lol. Good concept.

Those drill come in every color you can think of.
Thinking they might work better put on the jig head then resoned but this gives me something to do to stay occupied til I get to go fishin.

Couple things to try. Typically this is done with a thick resin, not the standard uv nail type. Solarez pink is the best. You can also get colored resin for a cool look.

I've seen videos of using nail heads to do it.
I just tried a drop and it was way too much. Thicker would probably be better but I'm gonna have some fun with it. Found a small mold that might work for keeping the shape and size better.

Likely wind up just gluing them on if I really get into putting eyes on then sealing it with a thin coat.

If you have access to a vinyl cutting machine like a Cricut or Silhouette you can use reflective vinyl to make the base, overlay black vinyl for the pupil and then use high viscosity resin to make the dome.
    Don't worry, catch crappie.
