    Default Kayak Trip Report, Limestone Bay/Creek


    I fished this upper end of Limestone and the pits this morning. Returned a couple dozen shorts, kept 9. They're starting to get color!!

    Visibility of about a foot in the pits, 18 inches in the creek. The water was 68 degrees.

    Three other guys show up this morning at the same time as me, but they were primarily Bass fishing. Penty of water in the upper end for several anglers, at least until the water comes up a foot or two and the big boats invade!

    Main reason was when I saw how shallow it was. Knee is bothering me and didn’t think I’d be able to do any dragging if I had to.
