    Thanks Rojo, Since this is a new issue since putting in a new "kit" i am wondering if either I did not install it properly or a bad (wharped) kit? As you have previously stated "human error" is a likely culprit

    No harm in replacing the thermostat to rule it out. You know, the water flowing thru it is not always clean; crud can collect there and restrict. Boats.net will have diagrams and parts of all kinds for your motor (Serial #) at decent prices with prompt shipping, check 'em out. Just a moment...

    Started getting things ready to pull it apart tomorrow. When I pulled the cowling found this unplugged sits right behind the front cowling latch???? Looking for what it is ????

    It looks like it plugs into the sensor or harness behind the plug that you have in the foreground.
    If I'm not at work or taking kids to their activities, you might find me on "The Rez" fishing. If not there, I could be in the garage working on my boat.

    Thanks, yes it plugged right in, has a keeper, not sure its purpose? wondering if related to my heating issues? It is right behind the front cowling latch so assuming, it got know loose on cowling releases. Researching diagrams. Thanks

    Fixed I think, the water pump base seal had fallen out and would not allow the tube to align properly and destroyed the grommet..... Thanks for the ideas.
