Got out for a couple hrs Wed.

Didnt get boat out but did go to local lake and fish off pier, I caught 2 large mouth bass both about 2# on black/silver shad squirt and 1/64oz jig.My buddy caught 1 crappie about 10 inches and lost another.
Another buddy was already there when we got there and he had caught just 1 crappie.
Was a super nice day around 69 deg and a good breeze blowing across lake, now its going to get cold again so goes Indiana weather. Felt good to at least be out fishing for a bit.

1-2 inches of snow possibly 0.15-.25 ice tonite,,,,,then 68 wed, 74 Friday. After tomorrow pulling boat out of the mothballs and getting it gassed up and ready. Weather channel says 3 rd week of March to get alittle colder. This weather is nuts but I will take it. Keep on fishing when you can!

We ended up with about a quarter inch of sleet/ice, just enough to make it nasty out. Supposed to rain here like the next 7-8 days out of 10.

Well, we didn’t get nothing much…just a few flakes of sleet on the deck and that was it. 2/10 inch of rain is about all.
