    Default Sun and Fun!

Journey'd to Alamo Lake, AZ. Got some Craps and some LMB's. Man the weather was nice. 80-90F and light breezes. Wild Burros and Quail running around. Neat place. 60 miles from nearest town.

Cool nice job finding the slabs. Were you using Livescope or other method?

Just casting plastics. Got a couple on a Kastmaster. The Livescope guys did much better.

Cool, good to hear. I'm headed out there late March.

Is that when they'll be spawning and more aggressive? Right now they are scattered and neutral.

I should know this answer, but don't. I do know some friends say they are catching some crappie all spawned out. Spawn starts a bit early here and don't know water temps either but should be good to go through the next month or two. Livescope guys are killin' it. I'll probably do a mixture of casting to individual crappie (if I can't find the schools) and fishing some minnows shallow.
