Yep, not like it used to be.

I was worried about you boyz down there. If I can get over this covid I will come down and try to help post some.

Yeah, I really miss the good ole days. I've got some good friends because of this site, and learned a great deal about crappie fishing. I used to plan time off of work to attend crappie camps in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

I also miss seeing pictures and hearing about others fishing trips. It appears that several guys have started posting on facebook however usually most of that activity is from guides. Last wednesday was a nice day so my wife and I ventured out to Beaver that afternoon. We caught a lot of short fish probably only had 10 or 12 keepers. Didn't see many roamers most were setting on or in brush. By late afternoon the water temp was up to 54deg. Sorry no pictures.

I’m still lurking around, but with 3 grandsons all under 3 years old, and my dad being sick most of 2025 & passing in November, and hurting my knee & having surgery to fix that, I haven’t had time to go.

Many quit posting because of all the lurkers just looking for a place to fish. Between all the fishing sites and facebook it is not like it used to be. Today was pretty good used my trash jig.
