Default 90 minutes in Paradise today .

My fishing today didn’t start off too good at the water reservoir docks .
The winds (14-28mph) about blew me off the dock .
It’d been awhile since I fished a local creek , so I headed over there .
With rain due in tomorrow, today was the best chance to fish it . But I wasn’t sure if anything would bite with the cold water .

On about my third cast I caught my first little redbreast and hoped it wasn’t a fluke .
Ended up with an even dozen in about ninety minutes of fishing my micro jigs .
I was using my 5’4” St Croix Trout series rod with my new KastKing SE SFS 1000 reel and 2# Floroclear line .
The wind wasn’t an issue . I’m guess it’s because the creek has steep hills on both sides .
The most fun I’ve had fishing in awhile. There’s just something about fishing a small creek .
The fish are generally small , but it’s just fun catching them .

Those Redbreast are some beautiful fish, stunning colors. Scenery surrounding the creek isn't bad either.

I only had time to fish about a hundred yards of creek bank yesterday. I’m hoping the rain today and tonight won’t blow it out and I can get back to exploring more downstream tomorrow.
We’re supposed to be getting around an inch total and it’s mostly going to be light rain.
This creek feeds one of the water reservoirs I fish . I also have a short section of creek slow the dam I have fished before.
I need to check it out soon too .

We really need the rain here, everything low and clear. If it gets blown out hit the town pond. We're supposed to get a wintry mix here but will take any form of precipitation right now.

That front dropped a lot more rain than I thought it would. 2” here in the Lake Country. I believe you may have received as much on your side of the ridge

Online it says we got 1.2” . I drove over the upper part of the creek this morning. It wasn’t blown out but it was way up and chocolate milk colored.
I didn’t realize it was the same creek until I was checking a map recently and traced the upper end .
