I still KABOOM , just don't have the spare time much these days to post up ....
The spring run has begun , it is dicey as most of you know and can be feast or famine .....
Sure do love setting the hook on a big crappie with about 6 foot of line off the rod tip ....
them spring fish lose their lil crappie minds on a 5.5 rod in not much water ....
I am right sure if I pinched it's tail and mouth closed and used a not bent up measuring device ....
this specimen would have settled on the 16 inch mark ....
what did it weigh you ask ....no clue .....it really isn't important to me ...
one thing for sure , she and I had us a hard fast dance ....

p.s. she wasn't the only big one and it wasn't just crappie biting on my lunch break ....

one thing for sure , they will be all up on the bank in a week or so like it should be ....
and even though color don't matter , they are picky right now for whatever reason and some colors just don't get bit like others ....

having an almost 14 year old daughter and an almost 7 year old grandson in my life , a wife almost 20 years younger and a full time job at almost 70 years old,Totally understand.
