I’m finding out that is never too early to fish Buggs. Crappie guide Dan Goldman is really, really catching them.
Planning a trip to Buggs for the first week in March just wondering if that’s going to be to early and I know that weather can always be a factor

Definitely not too early. Can even catch them now long lining. But you have to move pretty slow. I'm don't long line but know some that do. I mostly cast to them year round. Some fish have already moved into the creeks while others are still out on the main lake. I'm not catching many but what I am catching is pretty good quality.
Hopefully the fish will be biting in therd week.. I’ll be there then
