Default Kayak Trip Report, Ditto Landing

I fished the back slough north of the boat harbor today and wasn't hopefully. The water in the slough was only 18 to 24 inches deep with the northern area where all the laydowns are was all 6 to 12 inches or less. I decided to give it a try since I was already there. I found endless little 4-to-6-inch Crappie returning well over a hundred with five larger Crappie returned. I ended deciding later to keep a few since I try to keep a coworkers elderly parents with a few messes of fish. I ended up with eight Crappie and one little Bass to clean. All fish came off a jig and bobber fished about 12 inches deep.

The visibility was around 12 inches with the water at 52 degrees this morning warming to 60 degrees by afternoon.
