Default Long Range Weather Forcast for Feb.

I hope this weather forcaster is wrong, but I have been watching and hoping for warm weather during Feb, and Accu Weather just changed their prediction of a 50 degree day in Feb from the 20th now to last day of Feb, the 28th. Dont need anymore snow as this last snow was 15 inches, and Monday we could get another inch, with Tues, another 1-3 predicted. I like snow, but I am over it when its so darned deep and you cant get around in it. For those that like to ice fish, enjoy this cold weather. Stay safe and warm.

I am in complete agreement with you. I live in the far north central part of the state. Enough of the snow already.

The wife and I just arrived in Florida and the temperature is 35 degrees this morning. It's going to warm up eventually, but this is nuts. At least no snow. We're not beach people so I guess we'll mostly walk with the dog, go see some botanical gardens and eat some seafood. I had some fish tacos last night that were very good.

Just wait and the weather in Indiana changes. We are on the rollacoaster. Today,,,maybe high of 60,,,tomorrow maybe 70,,,yeah,,,I’m thinking we could possibly get the boat out if the ice is gone,,yeah! Sure! but back into normal low temps after this…Enjoy the next day or so. Sunday 37/23. And I still have piles of snow/ice left in edges of driveway from plowed 15” snowfall.

Yeah thats right for sure, supposed to get back in the teens for lows a couple nights this next week but then back in low to mid 40s so we might get to see open water. All the ponds and small lakes around here still have thin ice on top covered in water so wont take much more to totally clear them off. All of m big piles of snow from the 8 inches we had are pretty much gone now. My yard looks like a rototiller has been run thru it from all the moles working, never seen them this bad. All I know is I'm ready to fish a lot this year havent gotten to fish hardly an the last 3 or 4 years except a little bank fishing. Supposed to be really windy here tomorrow so that may help to break up ice on lakes also.

We're still in Florida, but will be starting our trip back sometime next week. I hope your little warmup trend continues. See you on the water.
