    Default Minn Kota Ultrex Reverse?

I was wondering what it would take to put a reversing switch on my Ultrex?
Is this possible, so I can reverse the prop to slow or stop, instead of turning the head 180 degrees?

Bud there's lots of Reversing Relays for DC circuits but you reverse the voltage in that Ultrex at best you're buying another control board and at worst a Foot and a Control Board.

For anyone who reads this no Digital Trolling Motor that I know of can handle reversing the polarity. They are all pulse wave modulation motors controlled by SCR's (Silicon Control Rectifiers) Bad Bad idea.

I may be coming off a bit Harsh here but you will wish you knew before the repair bill comes.

I think the new Garmin Force Pro has reverse now. Saw a video about it not too long ago.

The new Garmin Force has reverse. It’s brushless too. However, Rojo warned me when it breaks buy a new one. $$$$
No repairing it. Make sure it’s the NEW Force introduced last year as the original Force does not have reverse and does swing 180 to reverse the forward motion. I’ve owned Ultrex’s both the original and the New Pro models. My bow’s are a little crowded with TV screens and the Garmin Forces don’t have the bulky cable connecting the foot control to the motor. The Garmin Forces both the old model and the new brushless one are much easier to deploy. I also run Garmin screens so there are other navigation advantages to having Garmin versus other models on my boats.

    Bon Temps!
