I found this old 3" float while getting my propane stove out of the shed, just incase of power loss, and followed the instructions on weighting it. Now this is a slotted cigar float, but it seems to have worked pretty well. For weight I used 4 1/32nd oz tube jigs with the exposed hook and eye removed. Cut float around middle, used a sharpened pencil for the holes and Gorilla glue to put it back together. Need to get in tackle box for the pegs, but it feels good. I fish with mostly 1/32 oz jigs so this afloat should not be over weighted. Can't wait to try it out.
