Default Bon Temps' Pears made a Great Wine

Bon Temps' has Pear Trees in his yard that produced a pile of Pears. The Crows & Squirrels (wonder how Pear fed Squirrels taste?) were wearing the Pears out. I brought home a bunch for processing once they were really over ripe and made wine with them. Pears do not have a strong flavor that carries over so you have to use a lot of fruit in the Must. I pulled 16 bottles of choice Pear wine out of them and matched the Pear skin color with the bottle seals.

If you like eating home made apple sauce, you can also make pear sauce. It's delicious!

I can't say that I do. I posted pictures of them I think, let me look and see if they are still in my "Reduced File Size Image" folder.

Default Seeing Light at the End of the Tunnel

Another Carboy of wine bottled today. This time the Raz-a-Rita (Raspberry-Lime) was bottled & sealed. I have the Mathis Peach left and all the bottling will be complete.

I'm thinking of limiting my production to no more than 8 Carboys of wine going forward. Some bottle go as gifts but 8 Carboys is a bottle every 3 days, no way I'm drinking that much. I will need help.
