Because I managed to cut, puncture, and rip the old fiberglass skin that separates the transom from the bilge area, and it feels flimsy in a few spots, I was planning to wrap the Coosa for the transverse brace in 1708. I was also thinking of buttering up the old skin with thickened epoxy to help fill gaps and cuts to prevent water from me splashing the bilge while rinsing with a water hose getting between the old skin and new skin and potentially mildewing. The skin for the knee braces seem pretty intact, although I need to study up on what fiberglass patches that I might need to lay when tying in the knee braces and transverse brace, since the area where the lower outboard bolt holes, knee braces, and transverse brace are ripped up good an unusable for templates.

If I'm not at work or taking kids to their activities, you might find me on "The Rez" fishing. If not there, I could be in the garage working on my boat.
