I received some presents to myself that came in over the last few days. As soon as this severe artic blast goes through so I can stand to be in my shed/ work shop, I'll get some time in making some baits...
A bunch of colorants, glitter, hi-lites, worm dip colors. The measuring spoons are smidgen, pinch, etc. And the spoon with the seratted edge is for hand pouring the bellies on injection molds. Something I picked up from CTOM, a member on here. That will tack some practice to get right, but something I want to do.
I also got a gallon of Bait Plastics 242blend (medium) Plastisol...not shown is a pint each of softener, hardened and heat stabilizer.
I'm looking for some sting glitter in holographic silver and gold. I think I'll check out Etsy and see what I can find there. Looking forward to posting some of my creations, that I hope to use to entice some nice crappie into my bucket with...Attachment 513402

The serrated spoon is a bit more aggresive than I was thinking. The spoon I'd like is actually shaped very similar to the largest of the spoons on the ring. I thought I mentioned you wanted to stay away from the "grapefruit" style of spoons due to the serrated edges. Common teaspoons are what I use and look for in thrift stores and antique shops especially those that are longer a slightly narrower. Baits the size of the small fry series do not take much plastic to fill a half cavity on one side of a mold.
Sorry for an mis-understanding.
It's no problem, I'll just wash it and put it back in the drawer. I haven't used it on plastic yet...

3I've been thinking of this myself. thought of hitting some thrift stores in the area first, then getting a new one if I couldn't find one second hand. Need to get out to the shed and straighten up the work area first though. It's a real pain when it's also a storage area as well.

I received another package in the mail on Tuesday...2" Crappie Slayer mold by Epic Baits...be glad when the weather breaks...seems every time the weather gets above 40 degrees, there's a Dr's appt of some kind that eats the whole day...and literally freezing on the weekend...On the way to an appt. Yesterday, drove by a pond that was covered with ducks sitting on a sheet of ice...to hard to fish, to thin to be on...just saying.
