    Default Pretty Redear

This fish was bigger and thicker than it looks in the picture and absolutely radiant. I was targeting crappie but was happy for this catch. Name: 20260109_140337.jpg

Good action for the cold months. I want to meet some of those redear when they’re done on the beds this coming spring. I haven’t had a good gill taco in a minute.

Nice one. Pale color due to cold murky water?

water is cold, but not very murky where I caught it, unless it had just arrived from the main lake.
