Thread: fishing line: who what where why?

!5 lb. diawa j braid x 4 to a 10lb. mono leader.

Suffix mono, 6# both clear and hi-vis 90% of the time, 4# the rest of the time.
I've never used braid and actually wish they'd make it illegal to use. Since it's almost impossible to break, I see that stuff all over the lake where guys who get snagged just simply cut it and leave an extra 10' or 20' of line laying in the lake for someone to come along and get it wrapped in their trolling motor or snag it.
