Default 2026 starting out with a bang

Fish was on fire after dinner time. They had moved again but this time I guessed right where they went. I am pretty sure every fish was caught on hair jigs(be on my website soon). We caught 76 total keeper fish. We was on a meat hunt so kept 40. 30 of the 40 was 12"+ the other 10 was 11.5 to 12. You know you had a pretty good day when u got a guy saying I cant believe I am throwing 11" fish back..Name: 20260101_171306.jpg

I will be back tomorrow too. Minners are over rated anyway....lol. I have not use minners on green for at least 10 years. I didn't really give devil minners a chance today. They was killing the hair jigs..

Sorry been a busy week since Christmas meant to report back Slabeye . Devil minners did well that day chasing roaming crappie in open water. I didn't get to the lake till late and couldn't find minnows so put the Devil minner in Monkey and Chartreuse and had a limit of pigs in a couple hours. Spider rigged with clients the rest of the week on Capps and Coleman rigs in 8fow and sent home limits. Noticed they are funny right now. We would catch almost 30 fish in the first hour after daylight but then they would shut down and Id spend hours carving out the last 10 . I have not experienced that this year until now.
