ACC Crappie Stick
Well, my brother gave me an 11 foot ACC Crappie Stick for Christmas this year. Beautiful pole and I can't wait to use it! I was curious though, from those who have been using one for a while, how sturdy is it if you catch a larger fish like a catfish? One of the areas I like to fish holds a lot of cats this time of year, so the last couple of trips I caught about half cats half crappie. I just don't want to increase the chances of breaking it on one. I believe it's a medium action rod.
Thanks and hope you all had a great Christmas and upcoming New Year!

I have 4-14' that I use for spider rigging. I have landed several 5-8 pound cat, tail hooked a giant carp that straightened the hook out. No problems so far

You won't have any problem with those rods handling a big cat. I own 4 ACC rods. They are my go to rods.
