    Things should be opening up as this cold spell goes through the country. Have always felt that the first full week in Dec. they start to school up and get active.

    Next to the spawn, this is one of my favorite crappie fishing times of the year. I'm switching from 1/16 oz plastics to 1/32 oz feathered jigs
