Depends on the upcoming forecast and the duration. If it’s a light rain/drizzle it’s one thing and if I had a dry suit, I’d go. Heavier rain, colder or windier, I’m at the house drinking coffee.

When it rains in the fall, do y'all stay home or go after em anyway?

I’ve known for a long time, the fish don’t feel it raining. I have caught some of my best fish in what I call duck hunting weather. Light to moderate rainfall. But the older I get my body isn’t as willing as it once was.
So with that said, you can catch fish when you don’t think they would ever bite. Gotta love it.

Fold out the Bimini top and fish in comfort. You have to work around the poles or straps, but that's still way better than trying to keep the couch from escaping!

It started as a Nov rain yesterday and worked it’s way to a winter storm warning, and for a short period a blizzard warning, roads closed and the whole 9 yards… Boat fishing in the rain really not a fan, ice fishing on a calm day with snow falling is magical.
