It is possible you have to have a mold made, and I would suggest getting inserts or like a BB, but it can be done. Just get a mold maker to make you a mold similar to the rattle trap.
I would suggest using floating plastic in remember that it would cash like a bomb.
Don’t know if you remember, flex baits we’re not they’re the ones that made the little big dig in the big dig and also one called the bandit. They were soft rubber like more like a foam, but they did work really well and I’ve caught a lot of fish on the bandit which was a floating popper kind of.

You have to keep the temperature even if you were using the Pyrex cups and putting them in the microwave both cups have to be pretty well pretty close to the same temperature. Is your problem that they’re not heating together. well, another thing you wanna remember is to keep your mold, hot or warm. Do not try to shoot a cold mold. Make sure that your injector is also warm.

How do you get the patterns on the sides of the baits?

To get that pattern on the side of your plastics. The material you can buy from Hobby lobby, Walmart or a fabric store and you can buy other material to get a Skelly affect.. take a piece of it and put it on an old pill bottle. Take the cap off the pill bottle completely and I use a Ziploc tie to put the material on to hold it in place lay your plastic baits out on the table, take the pill bottle and dip it into powder like what they use to mix into plastics. You could also get the powder from soap making supply companies online. Also that’s how I do it. make sure that you red dip them in clear plastic to lock everything in place?. I will add some pictures later on the pill ball the way it’s rigged up, but you could use all kinds of stuff to put patterns on the side of your plastics. Just use your imagination..

As I promised here or the powder that we used to put the scale on the bait also the pill bottle with the netting or scale material on it. I put the powder in a different container so we can just lightly stick the end of the pill bottle in it.
