    Default Sunnie day

Not the weather that was in the 40's, cloudy but fairly calm. Alternating between two rods I carried I fished the weed edge all morning swimming baits along the edge in water less than 2 foot deep and everything was there and willing to do battle. Probably caught close to 75 in those few hours. I didn't take pics of any bass for some reason but caught over a dozen. I love fishing in November.Name: IMG_6597.jpg

Sounds like you’ve got yourself a nice little fall honey hole .
The fall and early winter can be an awesome time to fish especially on smaller bodies of water .
We’ve had some nice weather but my fishing buddy has had health issues so I’ve been getting in some cycling time before it gets too cold to do that . I can fish in cooler weather than I can bike ride .

The most important part on this outing was my knee high wading boots. It allowed me to get out far enough to cast up or down the weed edge with the 7' ultralight. Fishing a weighted float 15" deep I fished the jigs by using a slow steady retrieve along the edges. Had to be a few feet from the edge or you wouldn't get bit. Used the same two jigs the whole time. 1/32 ball head duck jig with a #8 sickle and 1/24 bugger wedge tail jig with a #6 sickle.

Definitely a nice November day of catchin. Great advice, I just need to find weed edges I can fish without wading.
