Default New dock paid off again!

It's always great when a private dock you have permission to fish on turns out to be great under certain conditions and you can drive right to it. Went back and it happened again KABOOM first drop bigun, second same third again! Love the Kaboom and had bucket full in 45 minutes. Used same jig, yellow body black head and white tail, I caught them one yesterday with mostly a minnow trailer, some had nibbles.

I had stopped at a neighbors house before I went to meet a son I didn't know and promise him my ketch. He was really surprised when I came back in short time with bucket full of really nice ones from 9.5 to 12+. Handed him 21 and had another son there whose daughters LOVE them some crappie so they had big smiles when they looked into bucket. Always great when you can make folks happy and don't have to clean the fish myself! So it's a twofer.

This is a couple days later and told a buddy of mine to hit those docks when he went there with his boat but he called and said didn't ketch anything there. Asked if it was cloudy and yes it was as these fish are in the shade of dock that made perfect sense. Don't go there unless the sun is out. Good to know.

Wish I had a private dock to fish at. Sounds amazing and very enjoyable.

Nice mess of crappie. That pattern of fishing shady dock areas on sunny days has been working at the local park lake by my house. Catching a few crappie but catching quite a few trout along with them to make it a fun day. Cloudy days they seem to roam more and they are harder to find.
