could be a simple as the "white medicine" .....
some of the ole tried and true crappie stuff actually works really well .....
there exists about a billion things they say that I find to be total myths ......
but the one thing I can tell ya factually is this ....
a plain ole Walmart white marabou hand tie is really good stuff in these parts currently ....
it is by far outperforming other baits in multiple colors and in multiple spots ...
stay tuned .....more episodes coming soon of more bla bla bla ....
and then there is always that part as well...

Back in my side pulling days, caught a whole bunch of fish off those wm jigs. My favorite was red head, black body, white tail. Used to get a little frustrated with the brittle hooks. Open water I liked to twist the hook point out the side slightly and open the gap a bit. Broke a few of those doing that.

White is a classic. Always a good color to use. I do find though with some of those store bought jigs they need a little more glue so they don't unravel as quickly. KABOOM
Last couple times I went to my favorite bridge, these two and a tube jig in Black, Rd, Chartreuse worked the best...
But I can see where the white maribou would be killer too...Congrats on some very nice freshest, KABOOM!!!

Good results and you didn't break the bank with those hand ties. Cheap and effective.
Funny you should post those as this time of year I cast them in the swamp and hop back for some serious panfish action with a bycatch of Bass.
Nice, Ketchn. Thanks for the walk along.
