Thread: UPDATE- Western Branch Reservoir and Lake Prince

The boat ramp for Western Branch Reservoir remains closed to the public. Removal of the aeration system continues.

The contractor has begun removing the aeration system from Lake Prince. The section of the lake between the Lake Prince Drive bridge and the dam is closed. The lake upstream of the bridge is open, and the boat ramp remains open.

When safe to do so, we should be able to reopen the lakes to public use until the new aeration system is installed in early 2026. They will be closed again until the project is complete.
