I am researching this boat as well. You are asking some good questions. Sorry I am no help but I am chiming in to hopefully read the answers. Google searches dont bring up much end user reviews. There has to be someone who has used one.

I am leaving the saltwater game and heading back to crappie and bass fishing. Gonna spend a lot of time chasing Crappie on Lake Fork and Lake Palestine. Will also spend some time on smaller lakes like Nacogdoches, Naconiche, etc.. I'm having a hard time trying to decide between Aluminum and Glass. I will be fishing some VERY stumpy lakes which is why I'm kinda leaning toward the Aluminum, and the Excel EX 203 really peaked my interest with the 200 SS Zuke, I'm just wondering how low it will set in the water with that heavy of a motor and power poles. I also like that Excel is using .160 aluminum instead of .125 like most other aluminum boat builders. What are the thoughts around here on that boat? I is there better options for the mid 40k range?

hull, I had two of those and they were great fishing hulls in rough water up to

I left Excel recently when my boat needs changed and they didn’t yet have a model that fit my needs.

I bought a Skeeter Solera 205 walleye boat. Not brand new but 2024 model, bought new last March with 59 hours on it. My clients are like me, getting older each year and less mobile. That wide floor with one step from bow to stern is so much more comfortable on old bones.
