    Default Epics 1.6 stinger mold

Anyone here ordered a 1.6 mold from epic bait molds, I am here to tell you that this mold is really a game changer, it increased my catch rate a lot, going from a 2 inch Bobby garland to a 1.6 inch bait made a big difference. You wouldn’t think that a small difference in between those 2 baits would change things, but let me tell you it changes them a lot.

One of my customers mainly use the inch and a half plastics instead of the using the regular 2 inch stingers it improved his catch quite a bit also but here’s a kicker for you. I even go smaller than that sometimes would you believe that I’ve caught big fish on three-quarter of an inch plastics if you probably didn’t know that most panfish feet on a lot of insects are very, very small crappie feet on a lot of insect on the surface besides anything else it may be swimming by on the surface, but I have caught crappie on three-quarter inch spiders in plastic but just hitting the surface and jigging it around. They will come up and grab it so don’t be hesitant about going smaller yet on fishing plastics.,

I have tried to use the smaller jigs myself, but the hooks around my part of the country are hard to come by.

What size are you looking for hooks? I have literally thousands of small jig hooks. They are about 1/64 and maybe some of them are a little bit smaller. Perfect for your small baits.
