    Default Ugly Jig

Here's a jig that was tied on somewhere around 3 months. Even though the fish wanted small jigs, some good ones wanted this jig.

It's made of gray, red and blue fiber with blue Palmer chenille. The head is 1/8 oz in smoke color.

This just goes to show you, ugly may be pretty.

    Double down on ugly.
Here's one tied today, as usual for me, not exactly the same. Still the basics are there, cheap fiber that has no flash with added Palmer chenille.

Got this one a little too short too.

And a different version of ugly also.

I think I might just tie the original ugly back on!Name: PXL_20251103_172219445.jpg

Ugly ones catch a lot of fish when pretty won't. I have caught more fish on a tattered and torn up jig or fly than a nice pretty one.
