    Default Simple hair jigs

I wanted something a little heavier than the 1/32 that I've been using so found some heads up to 1/24 with #8 sickles. Several had crane swivels and did those as well. Painted up over 50 and had some time before yesterday morning trip and whipped these up. Cutting two clumps of rabbit hair per jig with two stands of krystal mirror flash on each side. Color for most was Frostip rabbit in black/white. This simple tie has been working very well the past couple years, even outfishing my duck jigs some days. Name: IMG_6526.jpg

Wow, that's really saying something to out fish the duck jigs! They look good.

Some things do get better with age and still improving on my tying skills. Been tying jigs over 30 years and it's still fun for me.

The Krinkle Mirror Flash by Cascade is the best flash I've ever used. Have a lot of flash from my commercial tying days but for the past few years this is all I ever use. A little certainly goes a long way. Some great colors to chose from.Name: IMG_6539.jpg
