    Default Dreamsicle time

didn't stay long , maybe an hour , was kinda toasty out there and I was already tired ....
low wind and it took me a few minutes to figure out the fish .
found a few in deep water , all small for the most part , went a bit shallower and found a few larger fish ....
changed baits frequently JUST ....to see if the "color mattered" ....
finally found the more willing participants in question in short water and really liking ....
my little Dreamsicle on a chart jighead
around 2 to 3 pm , bright sunshine
started in 12 fow and found the majority in 5 to 6 fow
no float this go , just pitch and drag ....
bites were fairly subtle , until I went with the Dreamsicle combo
when it comes to color and if it matters , it is my thoughts that I could ketch them on multiple colors in most cases ....
BUT .....I really prefer fish chasing me, instead of me chasing them ....
pitched em all back and down the dusty trail I went ....been a minute since we seen any rain in these parts ...
lake levels are falling rapidly in some spots ....
as they say ....hold my beer and watch this .....
    KABOOM is the word btw
p.s. my bud said this , looks like they were all nice ones , I said nope
only about 30 out of 35 or so were good ones bro ....

yeah , they were using them with decent success a few years ago , I think that's the only one I got ....
sometimes when Steve and I hit the water he tosses me a small bag of assorted colors to try out ....
now I kind of wish I had me a half dozen or so ....

Some nice crappie that had a sweet tooth. How toasty was it? We are still in the 80's in mid October. That's about 15 degrees above normal for this time of year.
