Default How to Treat Short Crappie Bang Bang Style

I took those short Crappie from the Ross Barnett trip to task yesterday morning. 4 Pats of un-salted butter and a tablespoon of Bang Bang seasoning went into the pan first. Once I fried the seasoning in the butter to wake it up I put in the fillets.

While this was taking place a pot of Jim Dandy 20 minute Grits was cooking on the stove. Once done I put the Grits down on a plate leveling them after with a little shake.

One flip of the Crappie Fillets to crust the other side before removing from the heat.

Topping the Grits with the cooked fillets then drizzling the leftover seasoned butter on top finished off a respectable breakfast. A little salt will be needed to taste in the end.
