    Default The Pearl River On a Anything Goes Trip


    I needed to make a survey run around the bottom of the Pearl River here to see if any Black Crappie was about. On the second tree checked and 15 minutes of fishing one finally thumped the jig. Best I can say is no Skunk yesterday!

    Under this pile of Redfish & Marsh Bass is one Black Crappie and one very nice (must have been lost) Speckled Trout. We had a good time throwing Baby Brush Hogs, Speed Worms, Spinner Baits, Vudu Shrimp, and Gold Spoons. Definitely a multi-species trip.
