Default Winter square bales in the barn

Took off from fishing this weekend to get fifty bales off the trailer and stacked in the feed room. I am officially soft! Three-four bales then stop and pant for awhile. My sore places have sore places. Just glad we don’t have a zoo full anymore.
The last year my Dad was still riding, we over wintered nine horses in same barn only housing five now.
And I don’t even ride anymore. I’m nuts, but they’re family. Good horses, but with some bad ways I put up with. Don’t figure they would fare well if sold.

Way, Way back in the day, Mid 70's, My next door neighbors and I would spend the week-ends loading, unloading and stacking 2- wire bales on two different farms. first couple of weeks made you think about if you wanted to go back or not...

I grew up on a farm and we had lots of hay fields. My grandfather recruited me when I was very young to drive the tractor while they gathered the hay. Long story short, turns out I'm allergic to grass.

Good job Jeff! I’m sore, on top of sore on top of sore doing the work to pour a 16 x 76 patio. The demo killed me, I think I can still feel the jackhammer
