Thread: Kayak Trip Report, Crabtree Slough

Fish Crabtree for a couple hours this morning, water is down about two feet so clogged with moss and lilies. I worked the open holes with a jig and bobber and returned a handful of short Crappie and several small Gills. Big surprise was all the Bass, they seemed to be everything from a few inches up to a pound and half. The water was clear except in the back where the carp had the bottom torn up and 67 degrees. Surprised a family of Otters and spent half an hour watching them play around. All fish returned.
