Default My 1st attempt at a master for mold

Using a chopsticks sanded down for a master. Needs cutting down. Thinking of trying some Alumilite Amazing Mold Maker from Hobby Lobby for a 2 to 4 lure mold. As you can see it's about 1.75 inches long and about 3/16 inches at the thickest.
Thinking medium to soft plastisol. Maybe a half n half mixture of soft and medium so it will be tough enough to stay on the hook, yet still have plenty of movement in you hand/water...Attachment 510513Name: 20251009_080819.jpg

Didn't get to town today, maybe tomorrow. I have three hard originals. Mold will probably be about the size of this stack of post-et note pad, and about 3/4 inch thick.Make and individual funnel opening for each one on the side of the big end. Put a 1/8 inch backing in the silicone pour before set-up for mold stiffness...Name: 20251009_192622.jpg

None of the local stores who stock Alumilite products have the high temp molding material I needed so I had to order it on line. Received confirmation tonight that UPS has it and should deliver it Thursday...
