Default Summer's Over But These Panfish Won't Stop Biting - post summer is the time

What started as a slow trip turned into an action-packed evening thanks to perfect timing around the minor and major lunar periods. With the lake all to myself , I put the long casts to work and connected with a steady mix of bluegills and crappies. From hard-fighting 8-inch gills to crappies pushing 12 inches, every fish bent the rod deep and reminded me why panfish are some of the most exciting fish ounce-for-ounce. Along the way, I share real-time thoughts on:

🎣 The challenge of pressured lakes still producing trophies

🪝 Micro jig setup that keeps fish coming over the rail 📏 Crappies in the 11–12" range and quality eater bluegills The braid was singing, the kayak was drifting, and the fish were biting. If you’ve ever marveled at the fight of a bluegill or enjoyed chasing slabs in the fall, this trip is for you.

You and I would have a good time fishin' together for good 'gills. Totally agree about the fight value for their size and fun of catching a mess of sunnies of whatever persuasion, whether bluegills or pumpkinseeds. That was a great trip with some good crappie mixed in to boot. Thanks for the video.
Yes, I was talking to myself; sometimes even I have to ask for expert advice.
