I would try to come and be there as long as the calendar permits. I live in Middle TN

It’s on my bucket list, it’s about the experience. 1867 mile trip for me, each way. may sound crazy leaving 3-4 lb red ear and trophy panfish. But it’s the adventure and sites to see along the way.
the sad part is I wouldn’t tow my boat, sleeping on the road too many items to steal.
ive had coolers stolen staying in hotel rooms over night, from a locked camper.

Plenty of boat rentals at Reelfoot. Most actually prefer not to take their own boat. It's pretty stumpy to say the least. Beautiful lake though. And depending on time of year can be good fishing for crappie or gills.

Where is Reelfoot Lake? Okay. I see it. North of Memphis. Too long a pull for me, I really like the idea.
