Down south is a broad term. I consider Grizzly Jig in Caruthersville, MO as being in the south.
But no not any crappie specific stores I know of. Bass Pro Pyramid in Memphis pretty cool to check out. High prices, but too be expected. Back forty in Grenada I hear has a decent selection.
If planing a trip to MS from your location in Ohio I would drive the extra half hour and hit Grizzly Jig on the way down. JMO

Grizzly Jig in Caruthersville, MO would be out of the way traveling from Ohio to Mississippi. Look online and order what's needed. A route through Nashville, TN would seem the best. There's a BPS at Opera Mills. There was a Gander Mountain in Jackson, TN but been years since I traveled through there. Marketed as Gander Outdoors at ebay, amazon and a few other sites.
Sportsman's Warehouse in Southaven, MS is pretty good.
Nana's Bait shop at Sardis Lake is pretty good.
PTG in Grenada is pretty good.
Lakeside Tackle at Grenada is pretty good.
Then there's walmart at Southaven, Horn Lake, Hernando, Senatobia, Batesville and Grenada.

It all depends which direction you are coming from. If coming to Mississippi just for a Bass Pro, you might as well stop in Memphis to check out the one at The Pyramid. Otherwise, others have better suggestions than I can provide.
If I'm not at work or taking kids to their activities, you might find me on "The Rez" fishing. If not there, I could be in the garage working on my boat.
